"The Telkom Social Media Special Forces team are powering up! They’ll be back to address your issues at 8am. Please inbox your queries then."
A post with above is what greet CUSTOMERS every morning on the official Telkom Facebook page so it sounds good so far, that forces are definitively on the ball.
Until you post something or inbox them and then wait till 2099 for a response.
A quick glance into the comments gives you a clue that you are not alone in hell and that there are many other customers that also trying to get a response from the Special Crap Force but I will raise my bet that they will rather get a response from an UFO than the dark forces behind Telkom's OFFICIAL Facebook page.
Tried my luck with Telkom's online chat but several chat agents in a row plainly refused to escalate the issue to a supervisor so I was forced to use some special forces tactics with the following chat opening lines.
Chat operators Precious Paulin, Bongiwe Zodwa, Sikhumbuzo Ntshekisa, Akhona Ndlebe refused to give media contact details or refer to supervisor.
Can you please refer me to a manager or give me media contact details?
I will continue to add names to the list and use it in our article about the poor service of Telkom until the issue is resolved
As sure as Jedi Forces it worked and a clever Siziwe Luctecia Ngece snapped my modus operandi and referred me to a manager that very soon phoned to say they will send a technician asap.
Will see if they really do that but I decided to write this review while waiting for Hellcom to fix a line that's down for over a week so that other poor astronauts can learn how to use Jedi forces to get some reaction if needed.
Warning : Please be warned that the Dark Hellcom Forces mark complaints as SPAM on Facebook
